A brand new racecar to be run in a brand new Championship for the amazing Mazda MX5 Mk4 (ND).
Being introduced by the British Racing and Sports Car Club (BRSCC), the Mazda MX5 Trophy will be initially run as a Race Series in 2020 with a view to making it a full blown Race Championship by 2021.
Aimed at ‘the next level’ up from the already popular Mazda MX5 Mk1 Championship and Mazda MX5 Mk3 Supercup/Super Series, this promises to take the MX5 racecar to a new technical plane with the introduction of items such as a fully sequential gearbox, 2-way adjustable dampers and bigger brakes.
The Mk4 racecar will also be eligable for other Championships/Series such as the BRSCC ‘Clubsport Trophy’ and the 750 Motor Club ‘Club Enduro’
